The e-mail system that my web host uses sucks pretty hard-core, so I have configured it so that when you send an e-mail to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it it will automatically be forwarded to This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it That way I can use Gmail, which rocks pretty hard-core, for any of the e-mail relating to this site. One of Gmail's best features is it's spam protection. Spam rarely gets through, and when it does it's usually camouflaged well enough that you can't really blame Gmail. Yesterday a spam e-mail got through. At least I think it was spam. It was pretty weird. What do you guys think? It is just a short and apparently random alphanumeric string. Has anyone else found an e-mail like this in their inbox? Am I simply putting too much thought into random spam?
In other news, there is some new content on the way. I need to borrow some equipment from a friend to do what I want, but I'm actually pretty excited about this. I'll give you a hint. I plan to make Sam Neill and Laura Dern proud. |
