If you've been to the site before, you are probably noticing a few changes in the way things look.

What you are probably not noticing is a fundamental change in how things are done.  Before when I wrote an article I'd type it up in Word, copy it into a blank article template, write the blog post in blogger, go back and edit the article to include a link to the newly-created blog post, manually update the articles page, and then manually update the "New Stuff" panel.  Now all I have to do is write the article and copy it into a field on a page hidden somewhere on playervsfish.com.  The system does the rest. 

There are a few other changes that everyone should know about. 

First of all, no more blog.  As such there are no more comments.  Instead each article and news post will include a link to the forum.  If a discussion thread exists it will take you to the thread.  If a thread does not exist it will create one.  You will need to register to post.

Second, and this is the main reason for the change, I intend to start recruiting additional people to write for the site.  I never intended to be the sole writer, but the old system wouldn't have allowed other writers to upload articles without allowing them full ftp access to the site.

Finally, you may notice that most of the articles are gone.  I'm going to have to re-upload them all to get them to work with the new system.  They should all be back up within the next few days.
